In recent months, not to mention the last few years, one of the recurring questions has been whether it was worth investing so many economic and energetic resources here in Terralba.
I can assure you that over time I doubted myself this initiative when I saw that the works did not go ahead, when with the heat or the cold I came here hurting my arms and back to go on with the work and complete a project in which any case I had believed and put all of myself.
Well, now with hindsight, also given the result of how beautiful the structure turned out, I can confirm that it was worth it.
Returning to us, why Terralba and why should you should choose it for your stay or holidays?
Terralba is a town of about 10,000 inhabitants, not very big but not even small and the main thing is that it offers all the services of a small town with numerous supermarkets, shops, bars and restaurants.
It is a passage town between the north and south of Sardinia and it is an excellent starting point for any type of excursion, tour or activity you have in mind.
Just think that the first beach is only 7 km from us, the beach of Marina di Arborea, and the most famous beaches of Pistis and Torre dei Corsari no more than 16 km.
Still with a view to visiting as many beaches as possible, in less than forty minutes you could reach the famous white quartz beach of Is Arutas, the similar Mari Ermi or San Giovanni di Sinis where you can find the excavations of Tharros.
Passing through all these areas you will find the town of Cabras with its now famous Giants, which is definitely worth a nice visit.
Cagliari is about 60 km from us, so even that area is easily reachable with the SS 131 and from there you can visit areas such as Santa Margherita di Pula, Villasimius, Carloforte and much more.
For mountain lovers, the Nuoro’s area is about 100 km away, in an hour you could be in the Fonni area or in a little more in Ogliastra where I guarantee you can eat really well almost everywhere.
Finally, without going too far, the beautiful Alghero is about 140 km away.
There are so many activities to do!
Apart from those that we offer internally such as cooking, pasta, pizza and why not even Seadas, the typical Sardinian dessert, around here you can go trekking, horse riding, boat excursions to the island of Mal d Ventre or rent boat in S’Archittu or Bosa.
In short, whatever you have in mind, the important thing is that you come and visit us in Terralba and above all at Domo Achenza and then we will take care of making you feel at home!
